The careful restoration of both cottages combines traditional features like exposed beams and stone walls with modern comfort like jacuzzi bath, dishwasher and satellite TV with DVD. The property is set in five hectares (12 acres) of private enclosed grounds, fully landscaped with mature trees, lawns, and a rose garden, on the banks of the Garonne river. The 6 x 12 metre swimming pool is located on the south side of the château. Roman steps lead down into the water. The owners live in the château and are knowledgeable wine lovers themselves. They love to share their experience with their guests, and can arrange private chauffeur-driven wine tours.

Pomerol has all the right ingredients for a perfect holiday. In the living room with its beautiful exposed beams and honey coloured limestone walls, you will find two sofas grouped around the former fireplace. The kitchen area is spacious and has a modern and well-equipped kitchen/dining room (table, 4 chairs) with a cooker, dishwasher, etc. Apart from a variety of pots and pans, you will find a coffee machine, water cooker, toaster, iron, and vacuum cleaner, in short, everything you might need for a comfortable vacation. Pomerol is equipped with a telephone and a TV with DVD player. Upstairs you'll find the two bedrooms. One with a double bed and one room with two single beds. On the same floor you'll find a luxury bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, two washbasins and a WC. The house is situated to offer you lots of privacy.
