LOCAL AMENITIES: At the entrance of Southern Dunes there is a Wal-Mart store which meets all your needs for food, beverage and household goods. Adjacent to this is a small shopping parade with various other convenience stores including Winn Dixie. Across the main road there are numerous eateries including Chinese, American Diners and other fast food restaurants.
GOLF: Our beautiful 3 bedroom villa on the magnificent Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club is situated just 20 minutes from Disney World and set amongst the lush greenery of this PGA Championship Golf Course just off Highway 27. Southern Dunes Golf and Country Club is a gated community which not only boasts one of the top 10 most prestigious golf courses in Florida but has tennis courts, gymnasium, fishing lake and a superb club house with a bar and restaurant.
ATTRACTIONS: Enjoy Florida’s all year round sunshine and excellent climate.The main focus for the Orlando area is in no doubt the many theme parks, ranging from the world renowned Disney World to Universal Studios, Sea World and the various themed water parks. To the west you can drive to the Gulf coast towns like St Petersburg and Clearwater with their lovely beaches and not forgetting Tampa itself with both a city feel and its share of fun with Busch Gardens. To the east the Atlantic coast and probably the most famous visitor attraction here is the Kennedy Space Centre where tours of the massive facility are conducted on a daily basis. There is something for everyone in Orlando. 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport. Head for Interstate 4, come off at Highway 27 and Southern Dunes is approximately 7 miles on the left hand side.
