Romantic cottage suitable for a couple, or a couple with a young child, nestling into the hillside overlooking the beautiful Cher valley in the interesting and historic village of Bourré in the beautiful Loire Valley Region of France close to Chateau de Chenonceau, Amboise, Chateau Chambord and Montrichard, within 5 minutes walk of the village shops, and 5 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk from Montrichard. It is in the heart of Loire Chateaux country also for visiting the vineyards and great restaurants. The river Cher is only 5 minutes away and is lovely for walking. We have bicycles so you can visit the surrounding countryside along the tow path and quiet lanes; we are minutes from Montrichard forest with its criss-crossing routes. Large living room with luxury corner kitchen, open fireplace for log fires. Superb upstairs bathroom with corner bath / shower and bidet. Large romantic bedroom with double bed, wonderful views across the Cher valley. Linen service and cleaning available

- This lovely bedroom has wonderful views over the River Cher. We have a folding bed suitable for children, also a cot in Bedroom 1. Beds are equipped with duvets and English pillows, non-allergic available, linen service avaialble. We also have for additional cost the option of a Californian goose-down bed toppper.

The cottages are situated on the very sunny hillside looking out over the river Cher, Maison Requin has a balcony with table and chairs so you can enjoy the views. We are not far from the village high street with a very good Boulangerie, Butcher / Green grocer and Pharmacy. We have a range of bicycles for our guests to use at their pleasure, they are maintained by the local cycle shop so in good order, We are close to the river Cher (just across the main street) and so have lovely walks by the river Cher. Maison Requin has a large enclosed garden with plenty of garden furniture; there are is a large hazelnut bush, a cherry and other fruit, plus space to play ball or boules.
