Getting Around: You will need to rent a car to get around outside the resort area and enjoy the beaches, restaurants and other recreation possibilities in Juan Dolio and adjacent towns. Car rentals are easy available at the airport and Hertz also has an agency in Juan Dolio. Small roads and walking paths connect the penthouse with the main clubhouse which includes a restaurant and a large swimming pool with a Jacuzzi and a small waterfall. The resort includes an equestrian centre and a polo field. The terrain is varied with small lakes and undeveloped green areas with huge flocks of white herons. Our neighborhood is very quiet and safe, ideal for bicycling and walking. Security is strictly enforced in the resort, and everyone entering must pass through a checkpoint, which makes the environment safe and secure. Walking friendly Juan Dolio is five minutes drive, with many nice restaurants. Particularly recommendable is the exclusive sea food restaurant Aura, with lounges stretching right into the beach
What Makes Our Penthouse Special: For years we have searched for a place to live on this beautiful and fascinating Caribbean island and finally bought this very special penthouse because we were attracted by its spaciousness and avant-guard design. An extra bonus is that it is close both to a tranquil beach and the country’s capital. We have furnished it with furniture and art brought directly from Italy, where we presently live, and have also added some local touches. The terrace, with a dining area that sits eight, opens to a golf course with small groves and an undulating landscape. Everything is new, clean, comfortable and very private. Since the other apartments of Los Corales compound are mainly occupied during weekends, we can enjoy the outdoor facilities (pool, barbecue area, etc.) for ourselves during weekdays. A quite oasis, but still close to the beaches and restaurants of Juan Dolio and other tourist centres, as well as the bustling life of the capital Santo Domingo, just forty-five minutes drive away
