Exterior Description
(150 hectares) This villa dates back to 1800, when it was a simple farming estate. A Swiss family purchased the property and built several unique hunting lodges that still accompany the villa today. 20 years later, the Finzi-Contini family of Florence purchased the property. They lived there until 1954, when the current owners took it over. The property features a sublime combination of Tuscan stone, cotto bricks, and rolling English lawns. Thanks to its location 500 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, soft breezes provide a welcome respite from the summer sun. The hunting lodges have been converted into residences?there are two large independent hunting lodges and a small woodsman's cottage. There are two additional houses which are adjacent to the owner's private farmhouse. Each of the five structures has its own history and distinct identity. They offer fabulous views, mature oak woods, and access to a vast nature reserve. This villa shares a swimming pool.

Interior Description
Situated 50 meters from two other villas, this is a cozy single story cottage. From the private parking area, a paved walkway (12m) leads to the entrance. The entrance leads into the central dining/living area. The floors are original terracotta and there are exposed beam ceilings. On the right there is a living area with two sofas and a fireplace. On the left there is a kitchen/dining room with a nice wooden dining table. The dining room has two large windows and glass doors leading to a terrace shaded by three oak trees. A hallway connects the living/dining area with the three bedrooms. There is one double bedroom with access to a private terrace. It has an en suite bathroom with shower. The additional bedrooms include one double bedroom and one twin-bedded room designed for children.
