Ancient stone-built farmhouse (350 m2) situated among the hills of the Santuario della Madonna del Sasso, behind the Fiesole hills, on a hill that dominates the Castello del Trebbio, a castle built in the 12th century by the noble family de' Pazzi and a noted farm that produces the Chianti Rufina wines. Bus stop in front of the castle. Broad views of the countryside and the castle. Peaceful position. Outdoor area with swimming pool (5x10) immersed in a grassy area with olive trees and barbeuce. It is possible to hire bikes and to purchase local products. On request the Castello del Trebbio farm organises tours of the cellars with tasting, oil tasting and Italian language and culture lessons, guided walks to the Santuario della Madonna del Sasso and the S. Brigida quarries, guided tours of Florence, Siena, Lucca and S. Gimignano. Upon booking, dinner with wine tasting in the castle's small, characteristic restaurant.

Comfortable furniture. Central heating. Baby-bed available. LOCATION: 1.5 km from horse riding, 2.5 km S. Brigida and Molin del Piano (grocery shop), 9 km Pontassieve (all kinds of shops), 18 km Florence, 40 km golf course.
