Location
With its incredible architecture, bridges, galleries, and museums, Florence is a gem in the heart of the Tuscan region. The Duomo section of the city is one of the oldest and most popular. This apartment is located in a pedestrian zone, just 5 minutes away on foot from Florence?s most famous symbol, the Piazza del Duomo. Equally close is the Uffizi, Italy?s greatest art gallery; Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, with so many of the world?s most famous statues and frescoes; and the oldest surviving bridge in Florence, the Ponte Vecchio, with its panoramic views. Orsanmichele, the ancient church, is also within easy walking distance, as is the abbey church, Badia Fiorentina. A little bit farther out is the gothic church of Santa Croce. There are elegant and smart shops nearby, where the famous fashion houses display their world-renowned wares. After shopping and sightseeing, treat yourself to a meal at the local trattorias and gourmand restaurants. Le Giubbe Rosse and Caruso Paskoski are both very close. Exterior Description
The apartment is located on the first level of a typical Renaissance four-level building, accessible by elevator. There are three apartments on the floor where the property resides. This apartment is located on the left, behind the elevator. Another part of the building also contains offices, but with separate entrances. Each apartment has its own bell at the large entrance door.

Interior Description
(110 m2) First Floor (with elevator): Decorated with parquet wood floors and hand-painted walls and ceilings throughout, this 2-level property is a gem to behold. Entry into the apartment is into a large living room with mezzanine loft. The lower level contains a carved sofa with two matching arm chairs. The Florentine style floor-to-ceiling drapes cover an immense window. An open wooden staircase leads to the semi-circular mezzanine level, where you will find a sofa-bed, comfortable for one, and a writing table. The painted wood ceiling blends in with the room. Beneath the mezzanine is the dining area, with a large wooden dining table, decorated benches, and chairs to seat 10. Entry into the kitchen is through a wood and glass door, decorated with the traditional Florentine symbol, a transparent lily.

The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, four-burner gas cook-top, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and American and Italian coffee makers. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have a 160 cm queen-size bed, satellite TV, and a tapestry hanging overhead. Both bedrooms have a staircase leading up to a mezzanine level with a wardrobe and a sofa bed for one. Bedroom 3 contains two single beds, a chest of drawers, bedside table with lamp, a tapestry, and a large painting consuming an entire wall. The ceiling in this room has been painted to look like the sky. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower, sink, toilet, and hair dryer.
