  • The two ensuite bathrooms on the first floor are huge. Both contain baths, bidets and a large double shower which was installed in 2009. The ground floor ensuite shower room does not have a bath.

  • All bedrooms were totally redecorated in 2007 and new carpets were also laid in March 2007. Three of the five bedrooms have en-suite facilities. There are two baths and two showers with a third shower being installed late 2008. Cupboards and wardrobes are in all bedrooms. All bedrooms and bathrooms have electric heating (only necessary November to March). Most of the beds and wardrobes are old French 19th C with a lot of charm.

Notes: There are two lounges at La Tuilliere. The kitchen has a has a huge table which seats 12. There is a similar table under the covered terrace which accommodates another 12 and a third dining table on the front terrace caters for a further 10 people. In the summer the majority of meals are taken under the covered terrace at lunchtime or on the front terrace, with the sunset, in the evenings.

Car hire: CARS We have two cars permanently at La Tuilliere. Please call to discuss their use. We are offering the use of our Renault Megane Cabriolet free of charge for the first 250km per week. (1€ per km thereafter). It's fully insured for any driver over 21. (This is offered to support you on local trips to the shops or golf club, if your main car is being used by someone else in the party.)

La Tuilliere: OUR PROPERTY We have owned the house since 1987 and it is more a home than a holiday house. In 2006 the main house was completely and professionally re-roofed and in 2003 the entire barn received similar attention. The house was redecorated in 2008 and new showers installed in 2009. MOBILITY For anyone with limited mobility there is a wonderful double bedroom on the ground floor with en-suite shower facilities.

Catering and Cleaning: CATERING If you would like to be catered for at La Tuilliere we have a magnificent Chef who will do everything for you. Shop, prepare, cook and serve. Sarah Dubuis is fabulous - we leave it for you to discuss menus, prices etc with her directly. CLEANING Adele will change the linen every week on a Friday and we allow three hours for her to clear and prepare for the next tenants. If you require more help, please let us know beforehand or discuss directly with Adele. Marc looks after the garden and pool maintenance. He will clean and top up the chemicals as required.

Golf: CHATEAU DES VIGIERS Château des Vigiers (please ask for link) is a first class championship golf course just 5 miles from La Tuilliere. For any keen golfers this is a must. Please call me if you are going to use the club. HOT AIR BALLOON Try something a little different. Our qualified pilot neighbour M. Château will bring the balloon to La Tuilliiere and take off from the house for a trip of a lifetime.
