  • Price excludes cleaning, linen and utilities which is €110 per stay. Longer lets in the low season are negotiable. Changeover day is negotiable except in July and August when it is Saturday. Christmas and Easter holidays and school half-terms add €100 a week.
  • Half the rent is payable at booking and the rest a month prior to departure. A €300 euro deposit is payable on arrival which will be returned minus the 110 euro cleaning charge assuming the property is left clean and tidy and all sheets are returned.
  • Rentals rates are net of any bank charges that the lessee may incur in making bank transfers. Preferred method of payment is paypal.com in which case add 3.5% credit card charge to the rent.

Notes: There is also a high chair. The property does not have air conditioning but we have not found it to be necessary. We have ceiling and other fans for the hottest weeks of August but the house has thick walls and the Rue Brulee is a shaded street so the house does not get too hot.


Further details about this house rental

Antibes is an exceptionally pretty place and has all the attractions of a historic old town such as a huge choice of cafes, restaurants and shops around the numerous pretty squares. It also offers the famous Picasso Museum, the cathedral, the Provencal market and the yachting marina.

Everything from beaches to sailing clubs to boat hire is right on your doorstep and transport links to Cannes, Nice, Monaco and Juan Les Pins are excellent, either by local bus or train. There is no need to have a car although car hire locations are close by. PARKING is not easy in the old town, especially as the authorities have removed many of the free parking spaces that were around. There are paying car parks by the port (5 minutes walk from the house) and a free one on the edge of town near the Fort Carre that is a 20 minute walk from the house or 5 minutes on the free shuttle bus. There is also an underground car park by the central post office in Place de la Poste. We usually go without a car and then rent one for a few days from Avis, etc in the new town and use their parking lots at night.

Antibes is about 10 miles from Nice International Airport and is reachable either by taxi or bus. The bus is now only €1 per person from the airport! The Alps are only about 90 minutes away for mountain walking and the hills of Provence are even closer.
