The Mediterranean Beachfront Apartments are just 15 minutes north of Cairns CBD. Near new, this spacious 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom luxury apartment is situated directly opposite the patrolled sandy beaches of Yorkeys Knob. The apartment is much larger than the normal 2 bedroom holiday apartments (135m2) and offer space and luxury.. And guaranteed ocean views! They have a large entertainer balcony with private BBQ overlooking the ocean. The main bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite and a balcony overlooking the ocean, beach and palm trees. The second bedroom is a bedroom/study with a queen, or a king, or 2 single beds (plus trundles) large enough to comfortably sleep 4 guests. The kitchen has dishwasher, 2 door fridge/freezer, fan forced oven, hot plates, microwave, coffee maker etc. - all quality appliances including DVD and CD players. The kitchen lounge and dining all overlook the ocean and beach. Three separate, silent, split system air-conditioners & sea breezes keep it cool.

Golf Holidays: Tropical North Queensland Golf Clubs involved in the Golf Passport include Sea Temple Golf Club, Port Douglas (formerly The Links) , Mirage Port Douglas, Paradise Palms Golf Course, Half Moon Bay Golf Club and Cairns Golf Club. All participating golf clubs are within an hour's drive of each other, and each offers a remarkably different playing experience. The Golf Passport currently sells for $285, which includes four games of golf; two rounds at any of the championship courses included in the passport in the region, and 2 rounds at one of the member courses in the area. I have not been advised of any increase. The Passport is an easy to use booklet with tear-off vouchers for each round. Each golf course's contact details are also listed in the Golf Passport to ensure golfers can make their preferred tee time reservations with ease. The golf courses have offered significantly reduced green fee prices through the Golf Passport, providing excellent value for money.

Golf: Mediterranean Beachfront Apartments are 2 par fiives from Half Moon Bay Golf Course. This challenging course overlooks the Coral Sea to the East and the majestic mountains to the West. Very friendly club and visitors VERY welcome. Vouchers available for in house guests $25 for 18 holes.Golf equipment available for hire at the pro shop.
