Thirty feet from the water?s edge, large, sliding glass doors open onto a deck and patio, bringing the beauty of the river into the living areas in all seasons.

To the north is an intimate view of a wooded sandbar that forms the mouth of Becky Brown Creek; to the east and south is a panoramic view of the Chester River. In addition to 400? of waterfront, house has direct access to a deep-water mooring buoy and, 2 miles away, is a public boat ramp at Quaker Neck Landing. The tidewater habitat has abundant bird- and wildlife.

The layout of the house offers several self-contained activity areas suitable for single or two-family vacations. It includes a large patio and deck; gaming room with an 8x4 billiard table and 2 card tables; spacious living-dining-kitchen area; upstairs dorm and playroom; and south bedroom wing. The house is equipped with 3 satellite TVs, internet access, and an outdoor, gas grill. In summer, an NSCA-certified personal trainer is available by appointment for an extra fee.

The town has a lovely historic district, an active theater, art galleries, and a summer music-in-the-park program.
