  • We are sometimes able to take short breaks in Mid and Low Season. A 2 or 3 night break costs 75% of the weekly rate, a 4 night break costs 85% of the weekly rate and 5-7 nights costs the Full weekly rate.

    Please note: All weeks or short breaks that include a Bank Holiday are charged at the High Season rate. February Half Term is charged at Mid Season Rates.

    To reserve the Property, the Client should complete and sign the booking form which we will send you at the the time of your reservation request and return it together with payment of the initial non-refundable deposit (33% of the total rent due). Following receipt of the booking form and deposit, the Manager will send a confirmation. This is the formal acceptance of booking.
  • The Balance: The balance of the rent together with the security deposit (see below) is payable not less than eight weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the Manager reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. The Client will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent unless the Manager is able to re-let the Property. In this event, clause 5 of these booking conditions will apply. (You will see this in our Terms and Conditions which we will send you with our Booking Form) Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment together with the returnable security deposit (see below) at the time of booking.
  • Security Deposit: A security deposit of £500 is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents. However, the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Client’s liability to Laetitia Vere ('the Owner'). The Manager will account to the Client for the security deposit and refund the balance due within two weeks after the end of the rental period.

  • The oak staircase leads up from the dining room to the first floor landing where you’ll find twisting passages and exposed stone walls leading to three different bedrooms, the master bedroom has a stunning en suite bathroom, and a family bathroom. Another staircase, past the bookcase containing a wide selection of books and magazines, winds up to the oak beamed attic bedroom with a queen size bed, en suite shower and loo and exceptional views over farmland and the rolling north Cotswold hills.

Notes: The entrance hall with oak floorboards leads on to the living room which has oak-beamed ceilings, antiques, contemporary soft furnishings, a TV and DVD player. A separate playroom full of toys for the children also runs off the hall as does a separate utility room with a washing machine and a downstairs loo. A fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances has beautiful views over the fields. It has a farmhouse table and seating for up to six and makes a great room for family dining if little ones are around. Off the end of the hallway is the dining room, again with oak and elm beamed ceilings. A stunning 18th century refectory table and ladder back chairs, seats 8. The French doors open onto the patio area, with BBQ, and the garden. The cottage has two gardens. One, surrounding the house, which comprises a small knot garden, a formal lawn area with a swing, play house and some beautiful planting around the ancient wishing well. The other garden is an orchard with a trampoline.
