Sitting high on the cliffs to the north of Llafranc is the stunning vista from the lighthouse, restaurant and medieval church (ask for the key in the restaurant) of El Far / Sant Sebastian. Pals: Beautifully preserved hilltop medieval village, complete with church, castle, winding cobbled streets and vistas to the Mediterranean. Girona: Medieval city with charming narrow cobbled streets and a perfectly preserved “old quarter”. Girona also has many shops and department stores in the newer part of town.
