You enter the castle via a classical French kitchen, with hand painted cupboards and a grand fireplace which is the heart of the house. Through the corridor are two grand reception rooms and the romantic sweeping staircase. This is where the main front door can be found with the original opening glass windows and decorative ironwork. The chateau boasts many original architectural features, for example gilded ceilings, ornate cornicing and architraves, wooden panelling, parquet floors and marble fireplaces.
