Easy to visit from Casaglia are:: Castiglione del Lago Citta della Pieve, Chiusi, Montepulciano, Montalcino Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Arezzo, Gubbio, Deruta, Siena, Spoleto, Todi, Orvieto. We will be happy to make suggestions for interesting trips and tried and trusted places to eat. Golfers will be glad to hear that the Lamborghini golf course and winery are less than a mile away.
You can spend a day in Rome or Florence: Trains to Rome and Florence are more or less hourly, so you can get to Rome or Florence in comfort, see something, do some shopping and still be back in time for dinner.
What you can do. : If you like walking or even jogging, the countryside round about is pleasant enough and criss-crossed by paths and small roads. You can explore the lake, picnic on the islands, visit charming little villages. If you don't feel energetic, you can sit around in the garden and make plans... The Lamborghini Estate with Golf course and horse-riding is a few hundred yards away.
