In the Winter, Moosehead Lake freezes over into a 40 mile x 20 mile Winter park for snowmobiling, ice skating, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and sledding. Big Squaw Mountain Downhill Ski Resort is just 12 miles away. Springtime offers excellent fly fishing and lake fishing. The famed 'West Outlet' of the Kennebec River is walking distance from the property. The Fall foliage season bursts into color with fabulous views from the tower's 360 degree circular observation room - no other view like on the lake.
