- Two of the bedroom on the main floor are lakeside. All three bedrooms are done in beautiful tongue in groove Aspen. The third bedroom on the main floor has a view of the woods and front yard. The 4th bedroom, downstairs, is very large with 1 double bed and 3 twin bed AND an under the stairs play cubby for children! You can walk out to the back yard from the downstairs as well.

Take a beautiful drive to Munising, approx 24 miles north, and take a cruise along the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
There are many waterfalls in the area, shipwreck tours in Munising Bay on the Glass Bottom Boat Ride, golfing, gift shops & many fine local restaurants Hiking, Biking, Fishing, Hunting, Wildlife Viewing, Horseback Riding, Shopping, Restaurants, Museums, Available on site and/or nearby - Sightseeing, Swimming, Snorkeling & Diving, Boating, Jet-skiing, Shelling BR B Area: /B BR Welcome to Hiawatha's 'Heaven' on Stevens Lake in the Hiawatha National Forest! This beautiful vacation 'heaven' is situated on private Stevens Lake, on five acres. Just the drive to get here alone, is spectacular! You will be amazed at all the beauty; wildlife everywhere!! Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking. Heaven is your home away from home. Just pack your clothes and groceries! We hope you will enjoy your days fishing off of the dock or out of the fishing boat and canoe. All you need to bring are your fishing poles and tackle.
Even the life jackets are included! The fishing in this lake is spectacular, especially in August, when the pike are really biting. When you are out sightseeing, drive into Camp 7, just seven miles away, to enjoy their beautiful picnic area and beach. Then you can go onto Thunder Lake and visit the Thunder Lake Store to enjoy an ice cream cone! This beautiful vacation home is centrally located from Munising, Manistique & Escanaba. Manistique is approximately 35 miles away and has a lot to offer. Many fine restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. Munising is 24 miles away. There you can enjoy the Pictures Rocks boat cruise; the Glass Bottom Boat tour to view shipwrecks in the Munising Bay, many waterfalls, lots of hiking trails, shopping, and great local restaurants!
Ski: Although we have a great snowmobile season and great cross country ski trails, Heaven is not currently available during the winter months. Please visit our personal website and view three other homes that are available during the winter months - Vista Grand Lodge on Lake Superior, Hiawatha's Hideaway in the Hiawatha National Forest and Evergreen Cottage in Christmas; Snowmobile from door to trail from all of these lovely and comfortable homes!!!
Golf: Pictured Rocks Golf and Country Club is located just 24 miles in Munising, along Lake Superior!
