Fortunately, it developed into a quaint paradise, shying away from high rise development. It has grown into a beautifully designed ‘walking friendly’ beach town. Besides Spanish and English you will hear languages from around the world. The international mix of Playa locals, business owners and tourists enhances its’ uniqueness. Fly into Cancun International Airport and take a car, bus, taxi or shuttle 45 minutes south to Playa del Carmen.
