Wine tasting at some of the many Wineries located around the Willamette Valley. Take a ferry ride a crossed the Willamette River in Canby. (its free). Ride the elevator ( vertical street ) The End of the Oregon Trail in Oregon City (its free).
Visit Portland's Famous Rose (its free) & Japanese Garden's. Take the Max & ride the elevator to the Oregon Zoo. Have dinner at one of Portland's many fine Restaurants. It is said Portland has more restaurants per capita then any city in the US. Visit Portland's water front, take dinner cruise up the Willamette River on the Stern Wheeler. Deep Sea fishing & Whale watching at Depoe Bay, try the Carmel Corn & Salt Water Taffy. Wind Surfing, Mountain Biking, Hiking, White Water Rafting & Kite Boarding in Hood River. Powell's Book Store the worlds biggest located in Portland. Visit Salem the State Capitol take 99E south not I-5. Portland's Saturday market. Golfing at one of Oregon beautiful 130 public courses.
