Amenities:: Swim, fish, boat or just sunbathe, you will love this beach. From Sunrise to Sunset the Gulf Beaches has a lot to offer visitors of all ages. We have 28 miles of the whitest beaches for any type of water sports you can imagine besides the swimming, sand castles, shelling and sun bathing you might want to try deep-sea fishing, beach volley ball or Para-sailing! The Gulf Beaches is the home of the Seabird Sanctuary and two local Historical Museums, one on the north end of the beach and the other on the south end. We offer all types of boating adventures including, dinner cruises up the intracoastal, casino cruises, deep-sea fishing, dolphin watches, snorkeling excursions, canoeing, and much much more.
Everything you could possibly need is right here. Centrally located with fully-equipped kitchen, microwave, dishwasher, cooking utensils, coffee maker, toaster, etc., Enjoy a morning coffee on a secluded deck or relax while watching an incredibly colorful sunsets. All linens are provided, as well as a BBQ grill, VCR, DVD player, CD player, Stereo, Cable TV, and there are washers and dryers on the premises. Rent one unit or all six for those special family gatherings you've been meaning to have.
There are several restaurants and shops located within walking distance, or you can spend your days or nights at many of the local attractions. Clearwater Beach is approximately 10 minutes north, and John's Pass Village in Madeira Beach is approximately 10 minutes south. Both have numerous water activities, beach shops, and many unique restaurants and nightclubs. Orlando is approximately 90 minutes from the cottage, Tampa is a 30-minute drive which includes hot spot Ybor City, Hardrock Casino. Downtown St. Petersburg is only 20 minutes away. There are serveral professional SPROTS teams -Tampa Bay Bucaneers Football, American League Tampa Bay Rays Baseball team and Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey team. There is a beach trolley that runs from Sand Key (Clearwater) to Pass-A-Grille every 20-30 minutes.
