Amenities: Washer, dryer, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, utensils, bedding, TV/VCR, cable, barbecue grill, row boat, canoe.
Activities: Paw Paw is noted for its Wineries and fruit farms. The wineries have daily tours and wine tasting areas. You can 'pick your own' fruit at many of the fruit farms. Jet or water ski, fish and swim on the clearest lake in the lower peninsula of Michigan. Fourteen miles from Lake Cora is Kalamzoo which has both an auto and air museum and many antique shops. Kids love the Formula K go carting track and arcade on the way to Kalamzoo. There are many challenging and inexpensive golf courses in the area-Lake Cora Hills which is right across the lake from the cottage. Next to this golf course is a large flea market open every weekend. Past Kalamazoo is Battle Creek where Kellogg's cereal is made and 'Cereal City' entertainment complex is located. Meet 'Tony the Tiger' and see how cereal is made. Heading west from Lake Cora, Lake Michigan is half an hour away. We will be happy assist you in planning any side trips.
Area: Lake Cora is right off I94 and is about a 2 1/2 hours by car from Chicago and 3 hours from Detroit. Lots of shopping and restaurants in Kalamazoo which is 14 miles away. Paw Paw and Lawton has many quaint restaurants and everyone should take a tour at the local wineries.
