Located on the Blackcomb Benchlands above the new Four Seasons hotel & Fairmont Chateau Whistler Hotel -just a short walk/ski to the ski lifts and Upper Village where there are several restaurants, bars and shops. Walk into the main Village or to take the free bus which runs every 7 minutes. Perfect location for winter. Enjoy walking on the many forest trails or ski on the groomed cross country ski track set and night lit trails in the winter. The Upper Village and ski lifts is only a short 5-minute walk and the main Village is a 10 minute walk or free on the 5 minute bus ride. Private garage for direct access and storage of skis and boards. Great location - no car is needed. We can assist with airport transfers directly to Chalet Forest. Wood-burning fireplace.     Confirmation
    To make a reservation please email or phone us. A contract will be emailed to you and a deposit of 25% is taken when the contract has been signed and faxed back. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival, except Christmas and New Years, which is due on October 15th.

    Cancellation
    If canceling within 48 hours a full refund will be given. If canceling more than 60 days prior to arrival guests may forfeit their deposit if replacement booking cannot be made. If canceling less than 60 days prior to arrival guests will be charged with the deposit and may forfeit entir
  • Security Deposit - We will get a credit card authorization for a damage deposit. This is standard practice for all Whistler chalets, town homes and condos.

    Chalet Forest will be perfectly clean and ready for arrival with hand soap, shampoo, bathroom and facial tissue, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher powder, garbage bags, some herbs and spices and basic staples and starter supplies of laundry detergent, coffee, tea, sugar and Coffeemate. We will provide a full housekeeping service every 7 days. If you wish more cleaning, or any additional services such as catering, stocking of your fridge and cupboards, taxi vouchers, lift tickets, etc. please let us know and we can arrange at an additional cost.

    DISCOUNTS ON LIFT TICKETS, SKI/BOARD RENTALS, SOME LESSONS & in many retail shops and restaurants. We are pleased to arrange airport transfers or assist with car rentals. Just ask!

To access the Upper Village or the Ski lifts you walk across Spearhead Drive and either put on your skis and ski down the trail - less than 2 minutes or walk down the paved trail depending upon the time of the year. The Main Village is a 5-minute walk from the Upper Village or a 5-minute bus ride on the free Village Shuttle bus. The bus stop is located on Spearhead Drive near the entrance to Forest Trails. For your convenience at Chalet Forest we provide keyless entry coded for each guests' arrival. And for your comfort there are 2 TVs with 2 VCRs with a selection of videos, CD player with 10 CDs, a small book library, hairdryers in each bathroom, and a propane BBQ on the deck. There are several eateries in the Upper Village. La Rua Restaurante is a first class, local's favorite eating establishment.

Ski: The trails are great for walking, biking, hiking and roller-blading in the summer or the trails are track set for cross-country or skating skiing in the winter. Lost Lake, the perfect swimming lake is a 10-minute walk away or a 5 minute bike ride. Or you can continue along the trails and arrive in the Village or walk around the Whistler Golf Course (open winter or summer for walking) and then onto Alta Lake or Green Lake, the place to be for fishing or water-skiing or wakeboarding is a 5-minute walk. Meadow Park Sports Centre is located within a 10 minute bus ride or 30 minute bike ride. The Sports Centre has a swimming pool with great kid's section, skating rink, gym, squash courts and aerobics step and spin classes. Whistler Village has a huge range of activities to choose from.

Golf: For a more casual experience try Chef Bernard's - amazing food if you can get a seat or the Double Diamond Grill or Monk's restaurant or Merlin's at the base of the mountain for a cafeteria or the best après bar in town. And of course the Fairmont Chateau and the Four Seasons have a few surprisingly good eateries and the Mallard Bar at the Chateau has great après entertainment. The Upper Village has several shops for ski wear, ski/board/bike rental, upscale and casual clothing, photo shop, small grocery store, cold beer and wine store. The Chateau Golf Course, a Robert Trent Jones design is also a five minute walk. Open from May until mid October this exceptional course will challenge anyone. The Whistler Golf Course - Arthur Palmer design and the Nicklaus North Golf Course - Jack Nicklaus designed - are 2 other very good golf courses in Whistler. Chalet Forest is located on the Valley Trail system.

Guest Book: From bike rentals and tours, ATV tours, rafting, canoe and kayak trips, climbing walls, trapeze, trampolines, zip-trekking, bungee jumping, hiking or walking, enjoying some of the great street entertainment in the summer to snowmobiling, dog sledding, heli-skiing, sleigh rides in the winter. Of course a trip to the top of the mountains via the Gondola or chairlift is a 'must do' event in the summer or in the winter regardless if you are a skier.
