Use of our exclusive Passport Club covered parking is included in our winter rentals at no extra charge to you! The Golden Peak Base Lodge boasts a quality regional American Brassiere of fine dining, bakery, deli, pizza pub, as well as home of the Vail Ski School (including the Children's Center) and full service rental and ski-tuning shops. Stay on the bus one more minute, take a short walk, or ski over from Golden Peak to reach the core of Vail Village, if you prefer to start your day at the Vista Bahn. (We doubt you will though, once you realize the ride up to the top is faster from Golden Peak!) People prefer to start at Golden Peak because the Vista Bahn (At Vail Village) can be crowded at peak times.

The Layout of Vail from East to West (West is further into the mountains, and you head East back to Denver) is: East Vail area, then the Vail Golf Course, then Golden Peak, then the main town of Vail, then Lionshead, then West Vail, and then on to the towns of Eagle Vail, Avon, Beaver Creek, Edwards, etc.
