Liberia International Airport is approximately 90 minutes from the resort and San Jose International Airport is approximately 5 hours from the resort. The roads along the coast are mostly dirt but not a problem if you take your time. 4-wheel Drive vehicles are recommended for a trouble-free driving experience even on the paved Costa Rican highways since they can have some big potholes. Four wheel drive vehicles are also built more sturdy so there is no worry about harming the vehicle.
