'De Hoedenmaker' is located in a quiet residential area, about 400m north of Markt square, near the 14th-century St. Gilles church.
In the Surrounding Area:: Town of Damme, 3 km (bike or canal ride). Belgian Seashore, 12 km. Gent, 45 km. Brussels, 90 km. This house makes an ideal base from which to see all of north-western Europe. Amsterdam, Brussels, Antwerp, Paris, Cologne, even London, are all within an easy day's drive or train ride. Many guests rent for 3 weeks or more, making numerous side trips.
