Information about the location of this Hilo house rental

Although viewing the lava entering the sea is a mere 25 minute drive, thanks to our location and prevailing tradewinds, our air and skies are clean and blue. Also, we are in the 'sunbelt' of the Puna coast, and receive much less rain than Hilo. The area offers many opportunities for exploring, hiking, ocean activities, waterfalls & botanical gardens, historic sites and museums, art galleries, shops restaurants- many within a 30 minute drive or less. The Big Island is big, and provides limitless activities, including visiting the observatories on Mauna Kea. Or just relax - it is up you!
