Amenities include televisions, VCR and DVD players, small refrigerator, coffee maker, dresser, clothes rack, beach mats, towels, sheets, dishes and eating utensils. We do not provide toiletry amenities other than soap. Lush tropical vegetation surrounds the property, including banana, mango, noni, coconut, bamboo, and panax. Three rooms has an a/c unit, and the bedroom and family room have ceiling fans. But wait, that's not all! Beyond the bedroom is a small reading/sunroom from which wireless internet can be accessed, and completing the cozy cottage is a bright, super-clean bathroom with shower and basic amenities (We even provide soap, shampooo, conditioner!). A full-sized aerobed is available for guests requiring an extra sleeping option. Other amenities for guest use include beach mats, beach towels, boogey boards, all linens, iron and ironing board. Lush tropical vegetation surrounds the property, including banana, mango, noni, coconut, bamboo, and panax.
Ohi`a Kai is approximately nine miles from Lihue Airport, a 20-minute drive at non-peak times. Haena State Park, at the end of the road when driving north, is about an hour’s drive, as is Kekaha, the southwestern end of the road. Haena is where you’ll find Ke`e Beach and the trailhead to the spectacular Na Pali Coast trail. Some popular visitor destinations and their approximate driving times include Kealia Beach ½ mile to the north, baby beach ½ mile to the south, toward Lihue. Other popular places to go are: Lydgate Beach Park (10 minutes), Limahuli National Tropical Garden (55 minutes), Kilauea Lighthouse (20 minutes), `Anini Beach (25 minutes), Poipu Beach Park (40 minutes), Kukui Grove Mall (22 minutes), `Opaeka`a Falls (15 minutes), Wailua Falls (30 minutes), and the largest coffee plantation in the USA, Kauai Coffee (35 minutes).
