Location: This charming Cape Cod house is located in scenic and serene west Malibu just 45 seconds above Pacific Coast Highway. The rental rates are very competetive compared to similar Malibu properties. The grounds are landscaped with mature trees and a gardener is included. The views are perhaps the best in Malibu and afford excellent sunset watching. If you are attending a wedding or any event at Calomigos ranch, this home is just 8 minutes away, and is nicer and closer than any hotel. The home itself has a very open and private resort feel, and is not boxed in by neighboring properties. You will not want to leave!
The House: The home is a tasteful, up-to-date, 2 story beach house designed for an in-door-out-door lifestyle. The deck spaces make it great for entertaining. It is large enough for families, and is just as good as a romantic retreat for two. The kitchen contains an indoor grill. Almost all rooms have an ocean view. There are two fireplaces and several flat screen TVs..
Nearby Attractions: Ample hiking, horseback riding and mountain bike trails and wilderness parks are close by. Many Beaches, including famous Zuma Beach, are only minutes away. Matador Beach is a wonderland of caves, cliffs, rock formations and tide pools. Leo Carillo and County Line Beaches are known for their surfing and kite-boarders. Great shopping, dining and movie star sightings are offered at Malibu's main commercial hub comprising the Malibu Country Mart, The Colony Shopping Center and the newly opened 'Lumber Yard.' Another visitor favorite is the Malibu Pier where you may dine, fish for your own food, or simply stroll. There are also a number of restaurants and bars within 5 - 10 minutes drive of the house, including The Sunset, Hideaway Cafe Paradise Cove. The How's Trancas shopping center is a five minutes drive and a Pavillions supermarket 7 minutes. A public golf course is 10 minutes away. Close by winetasting in local vineyards.
Golf: The Encinal Public Golf Course is under 10 minutes away and open to the public.
