Area Attractions: Mammoth Cave National Park is less than 30 minutes door - door. Many restaurants and retailers are available within 10 minutes drive in Glasgow, KY. Barren River State Resort park and marina is an easy 7 mile drive. Bowling Green is 40 minutes away and is home to hundreds of restaurants, bars, shops, National Corvette Museum, and Olde Stone golf course.
Recreation: This home was built for making a lifetime of memories for our family and yours. Our 4 acre property offers plenty of room to explore, relax, and get away from everything. A stream feeds a cove that borders our property which then feeds into the main channel of the lake. A canoe is available for your use and a pontoon rental is optional. Our boat dock is available if you'd like to bring your own vessel with Beaver Creek Boat Ramp only 2 miles away for launch. We have ladder on our dock to make swimming a breeze. Target shooting is a family favorite and there is ample open space for football, baseball, and outdoor games of all kinds. Covered porches afford the opportunity to be outside regardless of the weather with gorgeous views. Horseback riding and golf at the Barren River State Park are a big hit. Finally, one of our favorites between Memorial Day and Labor is lake church, a waterfront gathering of Christians enjoying fellowship and God's creation.
Other: This is a TVA US Army Corp of Engineer managed lake. The levels vary significantly throughout the year. The lake is brought up to 'summer pool' each year in mid April.
