You are only 3 blocks from the bayfront where you will find the bay, parks, walking and bicycle routes. A few steps down the sidewalk you will run right into park with rolling hills where you can play frisbee golf, walk and if you have children they can swing on the swings and run free. The house is great for families as well as corporate executives that may need a quiet home away from home environment to work in. While staying in this home you can also visit many other parts of South and centeral Texas on day trips; San Antonio, Brownsville, South padre, The Valley and even Mexico at Matamoros or Progresso. In South Texas our winters are usually very mild and short. ;
