My husband enjoys the golf course just a few minutes away, right on the beach and boating. Your kids will love to go crabbing at night on the beach with their flashlights! You can also rent bikes and ride on the trails throughout the island! Rentals are available for boats & fishing or site seeing charters on the island & 15 minutes away at Pelican Reef Marina. The Island is loaded with history such as Ft. Gaines, the Indian Shell Mounds, Ancient Oaks, The Shell Island Light House, & Middle Bay LightHouse. It is a great place to enjoy every holiday & local events.
