Ski: Squaw Valley Ski Resort is 2 miles down Squaw Valley Road. There is a shuttle at the end of the street. Alpine Meadows Ski Resort is a short drive away as a convenient alternative. Northstar, Sugar Bowl, and Boreal Ski Resorts are all within a 30 minute drive.

Golf: The Golf Course at the Resort at Squaw Creek is 1 mile away. There are numerous other golf courses in the North Shore Area including Coyote Moon, Old Greenway and Northstar.
