  • Rentals run from 4:30 p.m. on the first day until 10:30 a.m. on the last day of the rental period.
  • In addition to the rental rate, there will be a refundable security deposit of $2000 which will be returned to the renter(s) within 10 days of the end of the end of their stay when the premises are left in the condition in which they were found upon arrival. Reservations up to four months prior to arrival date may be held with a $300 deposit. Within 4 months, a deposit of 50% of rental is payable upon booking, the balance including refundable security deposit is due 20 days prior to arrival. Depending on the number of persons in the party, and the condition in which the premises are left, an additional end-of-stay housekeeping fee may be deducted from the security deposit. Renters acknowledge and agree that any misrepresentation as to identity, number or ages of persons in the renting party, or any indication of smoking, or of pets having been present on the property will result in forfeiture of the security deposit.
  • Regarding wheelchair accessibility: There are two steps into the house at the main entryway. The floors are hardwood with rugs, all bedrooms are carpeted. The Master Ensuite is wheelchair accessible however there are no handrails or other assistance devices. Renters agree that prior to departure they will: do the laundry, leave the clean bed linens, towels and kitchen linens folded on unmade beds, wash and put away kitchenware, scrape BBQ grill, dispose of any opened food, and generally leave the house in 'broom clean' condition; and acknowledge and agree that to leave the premises in any lesser condition may, at the discretion of the landlord or its agent, result in deductions from the refundable security deposit. Cancellation: Up to 45 days prior to arrival, 50% of deposit (less reservation fee) will be refunded, with balance of deposit returned if/when property is rented to another party prior to 25 days before original arrival date. No transfers will be allowed.

  • NB: There is a maximum of 8 guests permitted in this rental, descriptions and locations of twin beds, sleep sofas and futons serve merely to illustrate the availability of separate sleeping accommodation for each guest if required. The master suite is on the main floor, has a large sitting area, TV, a huge ensuite with shower and double sinks as well as a large separate dressing room. The second bedroom on the ground floor has a TV and a radio and is nautical in aspect. The bedroom on the second floor is private, also with a nautical decor and has a TV and a radio, and a sitting area with small sofa and a desk. The fourth bedroom is located on the lower level, it is very large with a TV and sitting area, and also has a separate family/recreation room with an electric piano, a games table and a sofa. There is a large screen TV in the great room.

Notes: This is a non smoking home. The house has central air conditioning and also has ceiling fans in the main floor and a floor fan in the second floor bedroom. A ping pong table, with paddles and balls is located in the lower level. Tennis racquets and balls are located in the garage, along with beach chairs, cooler and several sets of golf clubs. Barnstable County Beach Pass is included with rental as is end-of-stay cleaning fee.

Enjoy your vacation home: This is a wonderful spacious home, lots of room to relax with your family & friends, and private spaces too. Cooking buffs will delight in the kitchen: with 6 gas stovetop burners, refrigerator with freezer and icemaker, two ovens, a microwave and all manner of cookware and accessories. Plenty of room for 'kibitzers' too; a huge island where everyone can participate, an adjacent breakfast area, and a pass-through to the formal dining room. All can gather in the Great Room to watch the big screen TV, or lounge in the comfortable reading room. The sizeable deck at the back of the house has plenty of seating, and overlooks the garden with a fine view of the fountain, gazebo and fishpond - great for birdwatching, or a fun game of croquet (none of those awkward flamingos though). Relax out here in the evening and watch the fireflies flicker and glow. And smile. Play ping pong in the lower level. Sing a song. There's a piano and a games table in the lower level family room.

Play Outdoors: The tennis courts are a short walk from the house. The smoothly paved roadways have little traffic. A walk, run or bicycle ride starts just outside the front door and up the circular driveway. This quiet, rural setting provides a freshwater pond just 1/3 mile walk from the house - have a game of beach volleyball then cool off with a swim; it's a 10 minute drive to Craigville Beach or Sandy Neck Beach and a two mile walk to the quaint village of Marston's Mills. Golf, glider and biplane rides and a library are nearby. Your rental includes tennis courts, bed linens, towels, beach towels, deck and beach chairs, sand pails and shovels and beach toys, tennis racquets and balls, golf clubs and a beach parking pass for all of Barnstable Town beaches - including Craigville Beach and Sandy Neck Beach. On Cape Cod , you can play mini golf, golf, ride horses, rent a kayak and explore wonderful tidal estuaries, sail, go fishing for stripers and blues. Everything is close by.

Tour Around - Explore: Take a day trip on the ferryboat to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, or a road trip through Chatham to Provincetown. Go Whalewatching! Visit Plymouth Rock, tour Boston, take a Duck Boat ride. Don't miss The Glass Museum and Heritage Gardens in Sandwich; there's a replica Shaker Barn houses an antique car collection, the Art Museum includes a 1902 Merry-go-Round - all the rides you want free with the price of admission! Visit Mashpee Common, a charming outdoor mall with cinemas, a tea shop, restaurants and lots of interesting local as well as nationally known shops. It's just a couple of hours drive to Wrentham Outlets - Hugo Boss, Kate Spade, Coach, Caphalon, Williiams-Sonoma - all the usual suspects. Take a drive to New Bedford to see the Whaling Museum, in Providence go to the Zoo. If you want to take a gamble, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos are two hours away by car. There is just so much to see and do in and around Cape Cod, it would take eons to write about it all - come see!
