Enjoyment and Serenity: Blessed with dazzling views of the Sonoma Mts. in the distance, there are many places to achieve serenity. With landscaping that pleases the eyes while providing a feeling of seclusion in an urban setting, this unique property has it all. At the large entry courtyard, the shaded porch amidst maple trees, the hardenbergia covered iron swing or; at the covered table allow you to sip drinks and enjoy the soothing sounds of the water fountain and watch the many wild finches, hummingbirds and butterflies that come to sip water or enjoy the nectar on the flowers and grapes. The large pool courtyard includes four terry lounge chairs, lounge sitting and tables to enjoy meals with views of the Sonoma Mountains. The large pool (20'x40')has a water slide with fantastic view of the mountains and you can luxuriate under the moonlight in the private hot tub. The grape arbor, the pool covered gazebo with deep seating couch and the Mediterranean garden provide different vistas of the property.

Luxury and Relaxation: Each bedroom is equipped with the utmost care for luxury, comfort and relaxation. All bedrooms have down filled feather beds, silk duvets,down comforters and sateen and organic cotton bedding. Towels of lush terry cotton are provided along with individual terry cloth bathrobes, scented soaps,and toiletries. In addition, pool towels are provided for guests during their stay. Each room is equipped with cable TV,DVD, and iPod stations and clock radios. All rooms have ceiling fans in addition to air conditioning. The modern chef's kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including a wine cooler. The kitchen has all that is necessary for baking and cooking including Le Creuset pots and pans, baking dishes and wine glasses, and BBQ utensils. There are plenty of wine glasses. In the fall, vegetables and herbs will be harvested and you can enjoy making gourmet meals with the bounty provided by the gardens. Fruit trees provide plenty of apples, plums & peaches.

A private resort-Bocce,Volleyball & Basketball: At Serenity Under the Sun, we want you to enjoy the beauty of the property. We have a bocce court below the Mediterranean garden, and a grassy field to play volleyball or basketball. In addition, we also have bikes that we can make available upon request and that you can rent for enjoying the many bike rides in the town of Sonoma and its environs. The property itself is expansive and you can enjoy just walking in the gardens of the property. You can stroll down the stairs from the pool courtyard through the wisteria arbors and enter the Mediterranean garden with its relaxing copper fountain and enjoy the many fragrant citrus blooms from the orange, lemon and grapefruit trees or the different salvia and thyme varieties planted in the garden. To the side of the Mediterranean garden, there is a hammock under the shade of a mimosa tree and another hammock under the large redwood trees at the end of the grassy field. At Serenity Under the Sun, you can enjoy swimming, walking & playing.
