Further details about this house rental
Rental Prices and Seasons: We are new to Homeaway, having first advertised beginning in the Summer of 2009. We have had one rental so far, and so just one review! We are uncertain if we will offer Winter Rentals. If you are interested, please e-mail us. Rentals are Saturday to Saturday.
The Property : This is truly a unique piece of property. You are literally not able to see any neighbors during the Spring, Summer and Fall. The drive is long, giving you the impression that there is no one else around, but if you wish, you can experience all the excitement the Cape has to offer in no time. You can also sit on the lawn, sip your coffee in the AM and feel like you are nowhere near the hubbub of your everyday lives. Pets are fine, but we ask they they not stay in the house (we have a large breezeway) and it is a wonderful, safe spot for kids. We have many bikes of varying vintage for your use.
The House: The house is solid, which is not to say it is not very comfortable. It does mean that we do not have wall to wall white carpet that will make those with kids cringe. You can spill without hitting the panic button, and we have had more than a few Lobster Races across the kitchen floor over the years. The is no AC, but there are fans and we have never felt the need for AC. We do have cable and wireless internet, (although may find it most peaceful not to let the kids know it is there) and a 'library' of some classic VHS movies, as well as many books. We do not have a phone, as we have found almost all have cell phones. The TV does not have a DVD player... best bring your own or a computer/laptop for those movies. There is an outdoor shower.
Golf: The Cape is well known for many, many excellent golf facilities. The Fall is the best time to visit and get on the links, with no lines and beautiful weather!!
