Maple Ridge area: Maple Ridge is located in the Hiawatha National Forest on 2 wooded quiet acres. The cottage will sleep 7 guests in beds and 2 more on the sofa sleeper. Pete's Lake area is within walking distance, only 1/2 mile from Maple Ridge and has a nice beach and swimming area, fishing pier, picnic tables and grills. Hiking trails all over the place in our neck of the woods and lots of inland fishing lakes. Bring your boat and canoe along and trailer to many, many area lakes. A fire in the fire pit will be great fun at night to make s'mores. Grill your fresh catch on the charcoal grill or if you didn't 'strike out' you can always go into Munising and purchase some fresh Lake Superior trout! Take a short trip into Munising to enjoy Pictured Rocks cruise, glass bottom boat rides, golfing, charter fishing, shopping, and more and then enjoy your time back at the cottage with peace and quiet in the woods.
