It is not by any means a sparsely stocked rental unit, it is stocked with everything you need to live luxuriously in a home away from home. When you arrive you will be greeted with a 'welcome kit' which is a FREE mini bar including munchies, water, coffee and other goodies. It also includes maps and information on the area. The kitchen has everything you can imagine and then some! The linens on the bed are delightful; the towels are oversized, soft and fluffy. The master bath has terry cloth guest robes, Bath and Body Works™ toiletries and bubble bath for the spa tub. It is heavenly place to relax and unwind. It also features a fully stocked laundry room for quick clean ups during your visit.
We have an ADT security system active in the home for those that would like that little extra secure feeling. You will be given your own personal code upon arrival if you wish. If you choose not to use it that is fine to. It is all about what makes you comfortable. The club house and saline pool is just 50 steps from the house. We enjoy swimming and just floating on our rafts with a cocktail in the afternoon. It is a great place to meet other neighbors and we all have a wonderful time. When we want to get out there is sooooo much to do there. Check out our map page. There is an extensive list of things to do to get started falling in love with the area like we have. We love sitting on the gorgeous white sand beaches watching the day go by or taking walks enjoying the salt air. The nightlife at the casinos which is as close as just 5 minutes away is awesome.
New Orleans is just 45 minutes for all kinds of fun and adventure. Shopping at the malls, exploring the rich history of the south, visiting plantation homes, enjoying southern hospitality or cooking is just the icing on the cake. Doing what we want, when we want and having so many choices of what to do is what we love about the Gulf Coast. The history of the south is fascinating to us. We enjoy exploring just to see what there is to see. We rarely take the same roads when we explore. We get lost on purpose sometimes and there is so much down there. Mike and Wendy are both from military families. We understand the sacrifice military families make for their country. We would like to offer all military families, active or retired a 10% discount as our way of saying 'Thank You' for your service to our country! We appreciate YOU very much!
