Enjoy Port Aransas island style: There is much to see, do, and of course just relax. The beach is very popular and a 5 minute hike from your front door with a great boardwalk that takes you past the dunes onto the beach. There are mile of shoreline to explore, sit and watch the waves, fly a kite, build a fire to enjoy the night, go fishing, or just catch a tan. The fishing is great for both bay and offshore. Bring your own boat or get a guide to take you to the best fishing spots. The fishing is seasonal for the many different types of fish to catch. Then enjoy your fresh catch at the many restaurants that will prepare your dinner. We enjoy Trout Street, Castaways, and Pelican Landing. Some of the best chefs will prepare your fresh catch in many ways as you request. Some of the best burgers can be had at Virginas or Sandys. Either way- the island is full of many types of restaurants and eateries. You can relax at the coffee houses, pizza, and we can go on.
Shopping and Golf: There are many boutique shops, sand and surf shops, and just for browsing places to go. While some are out fishing or on the golf course- get away on the island or visit some of the nearby towns of Aransas Pass, Rockport, or Corpus Christi. You can slip time away very quick and miss so much. The Arnold Palmer golf course is next door to fill your day. If you have your own plane you can park it at the municipal airport and walk 3 blocks to your condo. Easy to reach. Your only 4 hours from Austin, 3 hours from San Antonio, or 4 hours from Houston. Dallas add on another 3 hours. Either way- your on the island and time to kick back and enjoy
Other Activities: kayaking, parasailing, shopping, lots of restaurants, walking on beach
