Hiking trails are located out the back door that can lead you along the face of the mountain to the Sandia Peak Tramway, or all the way to the top of the mountain along the La Luz Trail. A short 5 minute walk takes you to one of the Sandia mountain's beautiful watersheds, with a seasonal rushing stream and waterfalls. This house is both a peaceful retreat, and a convenient base for exploring both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The closest market is 12 minutes away, the mall is 20 minutes, downtown Albuquerque is 20 minutes and Santa Fe is a 50 minute drive north. An ideal location for couple getaways, business and company retreats, family reunions, and special celebrations, this property is truly a magical, unique, elegant and serene resort in the wilderness.
