In order to reserve, a rental agreement will be sent, to be returned signed with a check for 20 % of the fee in the renter's local currency. This check will be used as a deposit to reserve the studio and will not be cashed. It will be returned to the renter on departure. The charge for the apartment will be due upon your arrival either in the form of a cashier's check (banker's check) or cash in euros for the total amount owed. After many years of architectural renovation, Place de la République and the area near the Canal Saint Martin have once again found the charm they possessed at the turn of the 19th century. Today it is one of the most popular parts of Paris among all age groups because of its typical Parisian atmosphere, the bucolic surroundings of the Canal Saint Martin and the pleasant night life of the neighborhood. Due to its geographical importance, Place de la République, the second largest square in Paris, is served by five metro lines and a large number of public transportation buses. For those who enjoy walking, Ile de la Cité, the cradle of Paris is within a twenty minute walk through the Marais. A large variety of shops are available close by to this studio.
