- The upstairs bathroom has a refinished 1928 clawfoot tub original to the house along with a new Walk-in corner Shower Unit. It reflects a 1930s decor yet has all new plumbing and fixtures. The house is equipped with a Rennai hot water heating system which provides hot-water on demand at all times. The powder room on the main floor was added during the renovations and used to be a closet. It's convenient and in the middle of the house. The full bathroom in the Rumpus Room (basement) has a walk-in shower with a ceramic tile bathroom heated floor.

There are plenty of pillows and blankets, and the sheets are authentic vintage and right out of the original packages from the 1960s & 70s.

Restaurants: There are several excellent restaurants for fine dining in the area as well as good home-style restaurants, fast food and other familiar chain restaurants. Pittsburgh dining is 25 miles or a 30, 45 minute drive. Seven Springs is less than an hour away. There are 2 yummy pizza shops, a Dairy Queen, Bakery & Grocery Store all within walking distance. A friendly local 'watering hole' tavern is also within walking distance on the Main Street.
Shopping: Many vintage & antique shops are close by within a few minutes or up to a 15 minute drive. Brand new Tanger Outlet Mall is 20 minutes away. Several Shopping Malls are within 30 minute drive.
Churches: Just like in those Good Ol' Days when faith in God was the center of any community--- Churches of all denominations are nearby and most within walking distance to the home.
Golf: Rental of this Guest House includes Special Guest Privileges at the Monongahela Valley Country for Golfing, Swimming. and also Dining.
