Sullivan's Island: Separated from the mainland with the Intracoastal Waterway and marshes, Sullivan's Island is more beach than resort, with semi-tropical terrain, wide sandy beaches, historic Fort Moultrie, etc. it is a sport, nature and history lovers' paradise. Go crabbing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing in the ocean or in the inlets and creeks leading to the waterway.
Outdoors: Take a long walk on the beach... Enjoy the surf or great gullies to play in; watch the pelicans, sea gulls; rent windsurfers, kayaks, boats, and kite-boards.
