The House: The full kitchen has an island with 4 stools, and is fully outfitted with a full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven and 4 burner electric stove. A propane fueled fireplace heats the house for chilly nights, ceiling fans from the 30' ceiling keep air circulating and there is AC available in each bedroom. Robin Hood Lake is a peaceful, quiet lake, called a “no wake lake” because no fast boats are allowed. It is very safe for children and swimmers, and ideal for canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats. In addition to the dock, our lakefront is “walk-in” friendly, with a gently sloping sandy bottom, perfect for swim and play. Also, a lovely, cutting garden is yours to enjoy.
The Berkshires: The Berkshires are a noted cultural & arts center. Within minutes of this house… Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, Tanglewood Music Festival, Shakespeare and Company, multiple summer theaters, Kripalu Yoga Center and Canyon Ranch Spa/Day Spa, Appalachian Trail Hiking area
Extra Conveniences: Walk to “general store” for necessities or your morning paper. House has game tables (checkers/chess/backgammon/etc), scrabble, Monopoly, and Bingo, plus jigsaw puzzles and stocked bookshelves. There is an office area with a desk, phone and wireless broadband internet , and a studio area with tales and shelves- perfect for any hobbyist.
