Local Parks and Pools: Within walking distance is Stacy Park and Stacy Pool, with easy access to Blunn Creek. Barton Springs, the famous 1,000 foot-long spring-fed pool — with a year-round water temperature of 68 degrees — is located within the 360-acre Zilker Park on the shores of Lady Bird Lake (formerly Town Lake) in downtown Austin and less than five miles from the Glendale property.
Notes: We will do anything possible to facilitate your requests, as we understand this is your vacation, and we want it to be as enjoyable as possible. All rentals include coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, and general condiments. We are happy to purchase other groceries on your behalf in advance of your visit, and the local neighborhood store is two blocks away. There is a broadband internet connection, along with wifi for your computing needs. Digital HD TV service is provided with surround sound and DVD player. There is an AT&T landline with free local calls and an answering machine.
