For the Golfer: For the golfer, there are several golf courses within minutes to the house. Starting with the 18 hole 'Waukewan' course at the in Center Harbor, New Hampshire features 5,828 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 67.4 and it has a slope rating of 117. Then just a bit further down the road, less than 10 minutes, there is Oak Hill Golf Course located on Pease Rd in Meredith. This is a beautiful 9 Hole Public Course that caters to players of all abilities. Short enough to not intimidate the beginning golfer, yet tight enough to challenge the experienced one.
Fishing etc....: The lakes are stocked annually with perch, trout, bass, pickeral and salmon to name a few. If fishing isn't your thing....there is soooooo much more to do.
