Lake Front - Private Dock: Enjoy the true pleasure of the mountains - swim in the lake in our cove. We are on the main channel of the lake yet tucked away from boaters. Lake Nantahala is surrounded by the Nantahala Forest and half the lake is undeveloped. Well maintained and spacious, stairs down to lake and dock. Our tenants have usage of the canoe and paddleboat The Nantahala River is popular for whitewater rafting , tubing , canoeing and kayaking. During Winter Months visit Maggie Valley with skiing , sledding and snowboarding Enjoy backpacking the Appalachian Trail, mountain climbing, mountain bike trials on the Tsali. 30 minutes from Nantahala Outdoors Center
Activities Near House: Located near the popular Nantahala Outdoor Center Whitewater Rafting Venue, Ocoee Whitewater Rafting, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Wayah Bald at 5,384 ft. of elevation offering spectacular mountain views, Smoky Mountain National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Bartram Trial, Cherokee Harrah's Casino, lake or river fishing, horseback riding, boating, swimming, tubing, skiing, hiking, biking...the possibilities are endless.
