Amusements & Recreation: Great family fun at Funtown/Splashtown USA: The park is the home of Maine's only wooden roller coaster Excalibur, Northern New England's largest vertical thrill ride Dragon's Descent, New England's longest and tallest log flume ride Thunder Falls, the Pirate's Paradise AquaPlay attraction and our phenomenal collection of kiddie rides. The huge selection of games, shops and family fun activities provides something for everyone. Old Orchard Beach Pier: This amusement park features daily and seasonal passes for numerous rides including one of the oldest carousel's in the country. This park has a special section with kiddie rides designed for the smaller folk's fun. Also known for it's arcade and Pier Fries. Features Fireworks during the season.
Best of all Beautiful Beaches!: 7 Mile Sand Beach: This beautiful stretch of Coastal Maine features spectacular soft sandy beaches for days and dusk's filled with family fun and relaxation! Beautiful sunsets and sunrises will get the sleepiest away from bed. Great stretches of beach that is in the height of season are not over crowded, perfect for soaking up the sun or sea shell searches. Cast your line if you are a fisherman at heart right on the beach and wait for your catch. Low tide is great for the little ones to test the waters.
