- 5 Bedrooms - Bear (Master) with Queen bed on main level. On the upper level are the Fish and Moose Bedroom, each with a Queen bed, a large open loft with a queen sofa sleeper, and a large bathroom with shower and garden/spa/soaking tub. On the lower level are the Mountain Bedroom with 4 bunk beds, the Southwest bedroom with 2 double beds, and a queen sofa sleeper in the large rec room area with billiards table and flat screen. Also on the lower level is a full bathroom. It sleeps a large group comfortable; there is room for many groups to get together without being in each others way. Even with sleeping accommodations for 18, it’s not crowded. In the morning the first person in the kitchen does not wake everyone else up. The kids can be gaming in the loft, the teenagers can have their own space in the basement with flat screen, pool table, and gaming area, and the adults can have some relaxation in the living room or even on the screened porch.

Great Place for Fun in Northern Michigan: The Laughing Moose Lodge is a great base for Northern Michigan fun in any season. With all of the outstanding amenities at Crystal Mountain at the doorstep, huge Lake Michigan sand beaches at Elberta and Frankfort, and the elegant, natural spaces at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore nearby, everyone will have fun during your stay. Built in 1999 and remodeled in 2008 with warm, natural, luxurious furnishings, we think you’ll find the Laughing Moose Lodge to be the nicest place to stay at the entire resort. Take a few minutes to browse the photos on this site to see the home.
Ski: Crystal Mountain has been rated the best family resort in the mid west by Ski Magazine. It is very family friendly, yet has lots of snowboard terrain parks and a good mix of difficulty of skiing terrain.
Golf: Crystal Mountain has 2 outstanding 18 hole courses - the Betsie Valley and Mountain Ridge courses. the Laughing Moose Lodge is located at the 150 yard marker of the par 5 first hole of the Betsie Valley course, so you can sit on the deck, screened porch, or yard and watch the approach shots.
