Beautiful beaches, sand dunes, two golf courses, a world class tennis center, and an equine facility combine to offer a fantastic vacation experience. Some of the world's greatest dining and shopping are available in nearby, historic Charleston - but you probably will not want to leave the island. If you just like to relax enjoying nature at its finest, peace and tranquility are yours in this unspoiled, coastal habitat. You can encounter dolphins, loggerhead sea turtles, bald eagles, deer, raccoons, pelicans, and, yes, an occasional alligator, all enjoying the island with you. Seabrook Island also offers a fantastic nature trail, a crab dock, fishing, and many other activities. Bohicket Marina is right outside the gates. You can rent boats, take tours, dine, and shop at the marina. If your idea of relaxing is staying in motion, Seabrook Island has plenty of first class activities including golfing, tennis, bicycling, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, or fishing.
The recreation center and the new and improved work-out facility are next to the pool. The island is also a great destination for those who just want to relax and soak up some Atlantic sunshine. The swimming pool and beach are approximately less than a mile away. In the summer, the club offers organized activities for the kids at the pool area, as well as a 'kids club' to give the parents a break. There are also organized activities for teenagers. If you need a babysitter, there is a list available in the recreation center. If your visit is during the off-season, you can still enjoy swimming in the heated swimming pool. This island has something for everyone! We hope you'll choose to stay with us.
