The apartment with a 'wow' factor is light and airy with incredible views of marina, pools and ocean. There are 3 relaxing bedrooms, each with en-suite and own balcony. Two have sunrise views, one has sunset, and all are spectacular. There is a spacious living-dining room with full open-plan kitchen and balcony. The home has central air-conditioning. Owned by an English family, the home is decorated largely with light wood English furniture and pastel fabrics and wall colours, to make the most of the light and space and reflect the exteriors of nearby colonial style properties. We're looking for non-smoking guests of 25 years and over, to cherish our vacation home as we do. The home is located in a 24-hour gated community, the design of which was based on Port Grimaud in the South of France. Great facilities include a marina, beach, huge pool with water slides, shops, restaurants, bars, tennis, gym and lovely walks around the resort (admire the yachts).

Our property is in the beautiful marina resort of Sandyport, on the North West coast of Nassau. We have two ocean beaches, a lagoon beach and plenty of lovely places to walk, to see the colonial style homes and the marina waterways. The resort is convenient for a number of excellent restaurants and shops, and has its own gym, Church and medical centre. There are swimming pools and tennis and basketball courts on site. The resort is on a main bus route, so getting downtown is easy, for shopping, casinos or tours.

Notes: We have a lift in our building, which goes to the floor beneath ours, then one flight of stairs (about 19 steps) up to our door. The stairs have a handrail at each side and are shared between our apartment and one other only.

It is also very convenient for local buses to go downtown. The apartment was completed in the summer of 2005, and has a TV/DVD/PlayStation® (plus TVs in each bedroom), washer/dryer, CD player, phone, plenty of linens and towels and hairdryer. Other amenities include a coffee machine, health grill, toaster, blender, iron and board, full size fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, and a dishwasher. We have a travel cot in the apartment. In the Spring of 2008 we have installed wireless internet access. There are fantastic resort facilities, plus the property is very convenient for trips downtown, to casinos, or sight-seeing. It is 6 minutes' walk from a grocery store.

Visit Nassau to explore the history and the culture of these islands, or just discover a little piece of heaven on earth, with its fantastic beaches, wildlife, nightlife, shopping, restaurants and casinos. We first came to Nassau 14 years ago and now it's our dearly-loved second home. Try it, and you'll come back for more.
